I work as a Resource Director for the PC U.S.A. I have a wonderful family, husband, daughter, son and soon to be daughter-in-law. My husband teaches music, my daughter is a language arts teacher and my son is a newly graduated history teacher and his fiance is in medicine. My family is very musical, sing and play various instruments, alas I am not!
For Christmas this year we did something rather unusual. We bought a half tractor trailor load of knotty pine tongue and groove for paneling the interior of our cabin.
The interior of our cabin is knotty pine. Now, I'm not certain, but I believe that the finish on our interior walls is 'Yellow Shellac'. We found an old can of it at our cabin. Our interior walls are solid, not hollow. Unfortunately, you cannot run electrical or plumbing through the walls. Most of our plumbing is exposed, or cleverly hidden. I wish that we had T&G. There is a local Amish farm that makes the T&G pine.
